His Strength, Not Mine — God’s Word at Work in You
Julie Edensor
31 May 2026
In this teaching Julie shares from 1 Thessalonians 2:13, revealing the wonderful truth that the Word of God is not simply something we hear, but something living and active that continues to work within those who believe.
Paul uses the Greek word ἐνεργέω (energeō) — meaning to be active, effectual, operative, working — the root from which we get the idea of energy. God’s Word carries within itself His power and performs His work in the hearts of His people.
Julie also explores the Hebrew word כֹּחַ (koach) — meaning strength, power, capacity, ability and might — showing that the believer is not called to live from human strength, but from His strength working within us.
Through the life of Paul, the faith of the Thessalonian believers, and Jacob’s encounter with God in Genesis 32, we see how God meets us in our weakness and wrestling. The hand of God touches, transforms, and changes Jacob into Israel — a picture of surrender, dependence, and a life held by God.
This message reminds us that even in seasons of darkness, opposition, or weariness, God is still working. His Word brings life, His strength sustains us, and His power accomplishes what we cannot do ourselves.
"For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of mere men, but as what it really is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe."

He Called His Strength
Julie Edensor
10 May 2026
In this powerful message, Julie explores the mystery of the Hebrew letter Aleph (א), revealing how its imagery points to the strength of God, the nail of redemption, and ultimately to Yeshua the Messiah.
Journeying through Leviticus, Romans, Job, Psalms, and 1 Samuel, this teaching uncovers the spiritual meaning of sacrifice, offering, refinement, and drawing near to God through the Hebrew concept of Korban (קָרְבָּן). Julie explains how God “called His strength” in Moses, and how today, through Christ living within us, God continues calling His strength forth in His people.
This sermon is a heartfelt call to deny the natural man, embrace the refining work of God, and become a living offering pleasing to the Lord. Through Hebrew word studies, prophetic symbolism, and practical exhortation, Julie encourages believers to walk in the power, authority, and life of Christ within.
Scriptures referenced include:
Leviticus 1, Job 33:33, 1 Samuel 6, Romans 10, Psalm 148
Key Hebrew words and themes:
Aleph (א), Yod (י), Vav (ו), Korban (קָרְבָּן), Chokmah (חָכְמָה), Yeshua (יֵשׁוּעַ)
“He called His strength…” — a message about surrender, refinement, and the life of God working through us.
Aleph to Halak (הלך): The God Who Leads You Forward
Julie Edensor
03 May 2026
In this rich and thought-provoking message, Julie unpacks the depth of the Hebrew letter Aleph (א) and its connection to the powerful word Halak (הלך)—“to walk,” “to go,” and “to ascend.” Through the beauty of the Hebrew language, we discover that nothing in God’s Word is accidental; every letter, every number, and every pattern reveals the nature of God and His purposes in our lives.
Aleph, the first letter, speaks of strength, source, leadership, and authority—a picture of Yeshua (Jesus Christ), the One who leads, sustains, and gives life. As we explore the gematria of Aleph (111), we see how it connects with the journey of walking forward, even through trials, setbacks, and seasons that seem confusing or difficult.
Drawing from passages such as Genesis, Exodus, and Deuteronomy, this teaching reveals a powerful truth: what may look like opposition or delay is often God leading us upward—closer to Him, deeper into His purposes, and forward into His plan.
This message will encourage you to:
See your journey through God’s perspective, not just your circumstances,
Trust that every step is ordered, even in कठिन seasons,
Recognise Christ as your strength, your Shepherd, and your authority,
Walk forward in faith, knowing He is always leading you upward.
Even when life feels uncertain, God is at work—guiding, lifting, and establishing your path.
From Aleph to Halak, your journey is not random—it is led by the One who is the beginning, the source, and the way forward.
Amen (אָמֵן): The Aleph, the Water, and the Life

Amen (אָמֵן): The Aleph, the Water, and the Life
In this powerful and revealing message, Julie explores the profound meaning of the word Amen (אָמֵן)—a word so often spoken, yet rarely understood in its depth. Rooted in the Hebrew letters Aleph, Mem, and Nun, “Amen” is more than agreement; it is a declaration of faith, truth, and alignment with God Himself.
Journey through Scripture as we uncover how Aleph speaks of strength, source, and leadership, Mem reveals the living water, and Nun points to life, seed, and resurrection. Together, they form a beautiful picture of Yeshua (Jesus Christ)—the One who is the beginning and the end, the source of life, and the fulfilment of every promise.
Drawing from passages such as Revelation 1:12–20, 1 Kings 1:36, and 2 Corinthians 1:20, this sermon shows how every promise of God is “Yes” in Christ—and how our “Amen” becomes a living response that brings glory to God through our lives.
This message will encourage you to:
• Rediscover the power behind saying “Amen”,
• See Christ as your strength, your source, and your life,
• Respond to God’s promises with faith, not passivity,
• Live with a renewed awareness of His presence within you.
“Amen” is not just a word—it is a heartfelt declaration: “So be it, Lord. I agree with Your truth.”
Let this teaching stir your spirit to respond to God with deeper faith, greater understanding, and a renewed passion for His living Word.
Unless It Dies: From Death to Resurrection Life
Julie Edensor
26 Apr 2026
Julie teaches from 1 Corinthians 15, John 12, Luke 24, Proverbs 18 and Psalm 119, exploring the principle that true resurrection life comes through death to self. “That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies” becomes the central challenge, as she encourages believers to surrender hopes, desires and self-protection to Christ, trusting that what is laid down before Him can be raised in His victory.
The message also includes Hebrew word study, looking at man/manna as “what is it?” and “from whom?”, the mem as water, the nun as fish/life, and the order of Psalm 119, where the mem section leads into the nun section. Julie connects this to Jesus as the true bread from heaven, the living water, and the source of resurrection life.
A sermon about dying daily, breathing truth, and being sustained by Christ in the wilderness.
מְאֹד טוֹב: Very Good

מְאֹד טוֹב: Very Good
This message explores the profound moment in Genesis 1:31 where God looks upon His creation—especially man—and declares it “very good” (מְאֹד טוֹב). Through the richness of the Hebrew language, we see that this phrase is deeply connected to Adam (אָדָם) himself, revealing both God’s original intention and the value He placed on humanity.
The teaching draws a powerful line from the first Adam to the second—Jesus Christ—showing how what was declared “very good” became fallen, yet never abandoned. In love, Christ descended to the lowest depths to restore what was lost, reconciling mankind back to God through His blood. The same letters that speak of “very” also echo the identity of man, pointing to a divine purpose that has not been erased.
From the mercy seat in the tabernacle to the empty tomb, this message reveals a consistent testimony: God meets man where blood is applied, where mercy is received, and where restoration begins. What God once called “very good,” He has made a way to redeem—fully, graciously, and eternally.
This is a call to see yourself not through failure or fear, but through God’s original declaration, fulfilled in
Earth Trembles Before His Majesty

29 Mar 2026
Earth Trembles Before His Majesty
In this sermon we look at Isaiah 2 and the coming day when the Lord alone will be exalted, and the earth will tremble before His splendour and majesty. Through the prophetic language of Isaiah, this message sets before us the contrast between the instability of man’s rule and the unshakable authority of God. In a world marked by pride, fear, corruption, and confusion, we are reminded that the Lord remains righteous, sovereign, and utterly faithful.
This message also draws on the richness of the Hebrew text, especially the word eretz , earth, and its connection with the trembling that comes when the Lord arises in judgment. Through the Hebrew letters, the sermon reflects on seeing the Head of righteousness, following the path God sets before us, and living under His care rather than under the dread and terror that fill the earth. The contrast between fear, pachad, and God’s gracious visitation, paqad, becomes a powerful reminder that the Lord not only judges, but also sees, remembers, and takes note of His people.
Above all, this sermon is a call to keep our eyes fixed on Christ, the righteous One, to reject the fear of man, and to live faithfully in days of shaking. While the earth trembles, His majesty does not change, and those who belong to Him remain under His care.
The Four Winds and the Corner of His Garment
Julie Edensor

The Four Winds and the Corner of His Garment
In this sermon we explore the healing of the woman with the issue of blood and the deeper prophetic meaning behind her touching the corner of Jesus’ garment. Through the imagery of the tallit, the tzitzit, and the Hebrew understanding of the “corners”, this message opens up the beauty of Christ as the One who carries healing in His wings and restoration in His touch. What seemed like one desperate act of faith reveals a much greater picture of God’s redemptive plan.
Drawing from Matthew 9, Mark 5, Luke 8, Malachi 4, Isaiah 58, Jeremiah 52, and Ezekiel 37, this sermon connects the woman’s healing with the gathering of the four winds, the raising up of Israel, and the Lord Jesus as the Repairer of the Breach. The message shows how the personal healing of one woman points prophetically to resurrection, restoration, and the faithfulness of God to His covenant purposes.
This is a call to reach out in faith, to trust the virtue and power of Christ, and to remember that no one who comes to Him escapes His notice. He is still the One who heals, restores, gathers, and raises up.
A Healing Tongue

A Healing Tongue
In this sermon we look at Proverbs 15:4, where a healing tongue is described as a tree of life. The Hebrew points to the power of gentle, healing speech, words that restore, strengthen, and minister life, while twisted or perverse speech crushes the spirit. This message centres on Jesus Christ as the true healing tongue, the eternal Davar and Logos, the Word made flesh, who came to bring life, truth, and light into a darkened world.
Drawing from Proverbs, John 1, John 6, Leviticus 1, Romans 12, and Job, this sermon also reflects on the Hebrew picture of sacrifice, obedience, and the believer’s call to become a living offering before God. The message touches on themes such as the etz chayim , the tree of life, the gift of heavenly bread, God’s sustaining care in sleep, and the contrast between the healing voice of Christ and the slanderous voice of the enemy.
This sermon is a call to receive the healing words of Christ, to offer ourselves afresh to God, and to let our own speech become a source of life, truth, and grace to others.
A Vessel Filled With the Breath of God
Julie Edensor
04 Jan 2026
In this sermon we explore what it means to be a vessel filled with the breath of God, as seen in Genesis 2:7, where God breathed neshamah (breath of life) into man and he became a living being. We consider the Hebrew understanding of the mouth, peh, as a vessel designed to carry and release what God has placed within. Through passages such as Psalms 34, 115, 119, and 145, this message highlights how the word of God becomes sweet to the chēk (palate), shaping what we speak and how we live.
Drawing on key Hebrew ideas like ra’ah (to see) and amar (to speak), we are reminded that what we behold in God should be what flows from our lips. This sermon calls believers to live as vessels filled with His Spirit, to let His word dwell richly within, and to become people whose mouths continually praise, declare truth, and reflect the life of Christ.
Let His breath fill your life, His word fill your mouth, and His praise be continually on your lips.

Only One Voice Saves: Listening to Christ in a Noisy World
In a world filled with competing voices, opinions, and distractions, this message calls us back to the only voice that truly saves—Jesus Christ. While culture, technology, and even our own thoughts can lead us astray, the voice of the Good Shepherd brings clarity, truth, and eternal life (John 10:27). This sermon urges believers to discern what they are listening to, to quiet the noise around them, and to follow Christ with confidence, knowing His voice alone leads to salvation and peace.
The Ram Caught in the Thicket

17 Aug 2025
This message looks at the moment God provided the ram in place of Isaac, revealing His heart as both Provider and Redeemer. In the midst of trial and surrender, Abraham discovered that God sees and supplies exactly what is needed. The ram caught in the thicket points us to Christ, the ultimate sacrifice, reminding us that God’s provision is always present, even when we cannot yet see it.

The Gate of Tears Is Never Shut
In this tender and searching message, we are reminded that every tear is seen by God and never wasted before Him. Drawing from Psalm 56, Luke 7, John 11, and rich Hebrew word studies, this sermon opens up the truth that the Lord keeps every tear, hears every cry, and welcomes the brokenhearted through the gate of mercy.
A moving message on repentance, sorrow, grace, and the compassion of Christ, who wept so that we might be brought near to God.

Gog and Magog: The Battle for Israel and the Glory of God
In this message, Ezekiel 38–39 is opened up to show that the battle of Gog and Magog is far more than a political conflict. It is a divine confrontation in which God brings the nations against Israel in order to reveal His holiness, vindicate His name, and bring about Israel’s awakening.
The sermon explores the invasion of the land, the judgment of Gog, and the restoration that follows, showing that God remains in complete control of the nations, the land of Israel, and the end of the age. Through prophetic Scripture, we are reminded that the Lord will not allow His holy name to be profaned forever.
A stirring message on prophecy, the central place of Israel in God’s purposes, and the certainty that all things are moving toward the glory of God.
The Groan of the Righteous and the Seal of God

The Groan of the Righteous and the Seal of God
In a world growing darker and more corrupt, God is still marking and keeping those who are His. This message draws from Ezekiel 9 and Revelation to show that the righteous are those who grieve over sin, not grow comfortable with it, and that they are sealed for the day of redemption.
Through the suffering of Christ in Psalm 22 and powerful pictures like the ark, we are reminded that our safety is found in Him alone. Though judgment is coming, the believer is known, marked, and secure.
A sobering yet comforting call to remain tender-hearted, faithful, and set apart as we await the return of the King.
Bound to the Altar: Dying to Self and Living for Christ

Bound to the Altar: Dying to Self and Living for Christ
In this searching and deeply challenging message, we are called to look again at the true cost of following Jesus Christ. Drawing from Genesis 22, John 19, Galatians 2:20, and other passages, the sermon sets before us the solemn yet glorious truth that the Christian life is not about preserving self, but surrendering self so that Christ may live through us.
At the heart of the message is the picture of Isaac bound upon the altar, the Akedah, and how this points forward to the Lord Jesus Christ, the beloved Son, who willingly carried the wood of His own sacrifice and went forward in obedience to the Father. From Moriah to Golgotha, Scripture reveals the same pattern: the Son given, the will embraced, the sacrifice accepted. Christ did not draw back, but “went out, bearing His own cross” to the place of the skull, giving Himself fully for sinners.
The sermon presses this truth into the believer’s daily life. To follow Christ is to agree to walk with Him, not merely in word, but in death to self. It is to let go of self-preservation, self-will, excuses, fear, and comfort, and to say with the apostle Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” This is not presented as a harsh religious duty, but as the only way true life, joy, and usefulness can be found. When self moves out of the way, Christ is seen more clearly.
The message also opens up the beauty of Christ in His binding, from Isaac on the altar to the infant Saviour wrapped and laid in a manger, already marked out for sacrifice. The language of being bound, restricted, and yielded is shown not as loss without purpose, but as the pathway through which God brings forth supernatural life. What appears to be surrender is in fact the place where resurrection power is revealed.
There is also a direct call for believers to shine as lights in a dark world. The sermon challenges every tendency to shrink back, to remain comfortable, or to hold part of life back from God. Instead, it urges the church to embrace the love, generosity, service, and wholehearted devotion that marked Christ Himself. To die to self is not to become empty in the wrong sense, but to become a vessel through which the life, kindness, truth, and strength of Jesus can be seen by others.
Ultimately, this message is a call to wholehearted consecration. Bound to the altar, the believer is invited not into despair, but into deeper union with Christ, deeper joy, deeper obedience, and deeper usefulness in His kingdom. It reminds us that the One who asks for our lives is the very One who first gave His own for us, and that in losing our life for His sake, we truly find it.
Iron in the Blood, Strength in the Lord

Iron in the Blood, Strength in the Lord
In this searching and faith-building message, we are reminded that true strength does not come from man, but from the Lord who formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life. Beginning with Adam, this sermon traces the theme of blood, strength, iron, and divine life through the Scriptures, revealing that the One who created man is also the only One who can sustain, restore, and lift him.
The message reflects on the meaning of Adam, the life that is in the blood, and the thought that iron in the blood speaks of strength given by God. From Genesis to the prophets, and through the pictures found in Daniel, Ezekiel, Judges, and 2 Kings, we are shown that man without God is weak, fallen, and sinking, but when the Lord intervenes, He raises up what has fallen and brings life where there was only loss and ruin.
A central picture in the sermon is the floating axe head in 2 Kings 6. What was lost in the waters was powerless to recover itself, yet when the wood was cast in, the iron rose. In this the message points us to Christ and His cross, showing that fallen man cannot save himself, but must be raised by the power of God. The sermon also draws attention to Barzillai, the iron-hearted servant of the king, as a picture of steadfast loyalty in days of rejection, and calls believers to remain faithful to Christ in an age of compromise, rebellion, and spiritual darkness.
There is also a strong emphasis on the days in which we are living. As the world grows increasingly hostile to truth, and as deception deepens, the call of the sermon is for the church to stand firm, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and remain spiritually awake. The message urges us not to cast off God’s boundaries, but to recognise that His ways are life, protection, and truth.
Above all, this sermon points to the Lord Jesus Christ as the source of all real strength. He is the One who opens the door, gives the living water, lifts by His Spirit, and fills His house with glory. In a world of shaking, He alone is the strength of His people. This message is both a warning and an encouragement, calling us to be faithful, iron-hearted in grace, and wholly dependent on the Lord.
